April – December

Experience a truly untouched piece of African wilderness at the Sioma Ngwezi National Park, just 20km from the lodge.

A fly camp will be set up to your requirements for up to three days inside the park. Each day, an experienced guide and tracker will escort you on walking safaris in the park, allowing you to experience the African wilderness first hand.

ABOUT THE PARK

This 5000 square kilometre game park in the far south west has been completely undeveloped and rarely visited until recently.

The park is home to over 3000 elephants; the area forms an important link in the migratory route of elephants from the bordering national parks of Botswana and Namibia.

Several antelope species are present, but quite shy - mostly puku, impala, roan, sable, zebra and kudu.

Other unusual antelope found include oribi, red lechwe, steenbok, duiker, tsessebe and roan. The jackal, cheetah, wildcat, wild dog as well as lion and hyena are the predators of the area.
