
Mutemwa Lodge is strategically located in south-western
Zambia, 50km north of Katima Mulilo, on the Zambezi
River.

Nationwide Airlines fly from Johannesburg directly
to Livingstone, then a charter flight from Livingstone
to Mutemwa.
Mutemwa Lodge has its own airstrip - 1 000m grass surface.
(Co-ordinates: E24°00' 150 : S17° 03' 280). Private charter flights can also be arranged.
BY ROAD
The Lodge is accessible by road, 250km upriver from
Livingstone. The Lodge offers a road transfer from Katima
Mulilo, in comfortable 4x4 vehicles.
From Livingstone take the Kazungula/Sesheke Road
(200 of tar road to the new bridge, then 50km of dirt
road on the western bank to Mutemwa).
From Johannesburg, head north on the N1. At Potgietersrus
turn left to Martin's Drift border post. Enter Botswana, drive to Francistown, pass through Chobe Game Reserve to Ngoma border
post. Drive through the Namibian Caprivi Strip to Katima
Mulilo. Cross the border post into Zambia. Drive 50km - the Lodge is signposted.
TRANSFERS
Royal Barotse Safari's makes use of South African tour company Hamba Travel to provide a transfer service to Mutemwa lodge from Johannesburg, with a stop over in Nata lodge, Botswana.
